Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is an ancient tool of discernment and insight. With a spiritual companion we can explore the depths of our spirituality and truly recognize ourselves as spiritual beings on a human journey. We begin to perceive and respond to the presence of the Divine calling us to be unique expressions of the Spirit in compassion, healing and hope.
Grief Support
Grieving is a unique, very personal and normal response to loss. For you, it maybe the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dear pet, your good health, a job, a home, your hopes and dreams. It has been said, “Unrecognized losses and unexpressed grief are at the bottom of much of our unwellness.” It is healing to share our grief journey with a trusted companion and empathetic listener. As we walk this path together, may compassion and grace fill your heart with hope.
Weddings, Funerals and Blessings
Weddings
Beginning with a very basic wedding outline, Vicki welcomes your ideas to create a personal, memorable and moving ceremony. Your suggestions may include music, poetry and readings that reflect you as a couple. Multi-faith ceremonies are unique and respectful.
Funerals/Memorials
Presiding at funerals and memorials to celebrate the life of your loved one is an honor. Meeting with family members to discuss how they envision the gathering of remembrance to unfold, provides Vicki with stories and insight into the loves, desires and personhood of the deceased and his or her family and friends. Together we will plan a loving tribute to your loved one.
Blessings
Offering blessings for infants, special life moments and sacred places, creates an inspirational, comforting and spirit filled time.
Labyrinth Walks
You are invited to experience the labyrinth. The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool, a walking meditation and a path of prayer. It is an archetype, a divine imprint found in all religious traditions and spiritualties in various forms around the world. It is a place of release and renewal, a place to bring your questions and seek guidance, forgiveness and healing. While walking the labyrinth some people find peace and/or a deep state of concentration. Many find insight, clarity and hope. The labyrinth is an amazing tool of self-discovery and transformation. At Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, Vicki studied to become a labyrinth facilitator with Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress, author of Walking a Sacred Path.

Soul Midwifery
Vicki has completed the First Practitioner Level One Course with the Soul Midwives School, Dorest, United Kingdom. Soul Midwives are non-medical holistic and spiritual companions who guide and support a dying person in order to facilitate a gentle and tranquil death. Vicki supports and recognizes the individual needs of the dying person and their family while creating and holding a sacred space whether in hospital, hospice or home.
